A Modulign orthotic can be fitted in just four easy steps.
Patient assessment and measurement.
The foot length and the width of the heel is measured to select the appropriately sized base orthotic. Choose from three standard sizes.
Modulign wedge
selection.
Wedges provided with the starter kit (or individually) can be clipped into different sections of the orthotic to adjust the level of support, based on the practitioner’s initial assessment. Wedges are supplied in increments of five degrees, ranging from five to 20, and are 100% recyclable.
Patient fitting and
shoe testing.
The Modulign orthotic is inserted into the shoe and the alignment and support reviewed with the patient. Wedges can then be removed and adjusted until optimal comfort, support and correction is obtained.
Patient follow-up
and ongoing adjustments.
After wearing in the orthotic, any adjustments can be made by the practitioner on future visits, simply by changing over the different wedges to increase or decrease the amount of support.
